Fresh ZAATAR LEAVES

Zaatar Leaves 250g – Fresh Cut Daily for Dubai Kitchens

Fresh Zaatar Leaves have a sharp, earthy aroma and a warm herbal taste. Also known as wild thyme, this herb is a staple in Middle Eastern kitchens across Dubai. At Fresh Boxes, we cut and pack our zaatar leaves the same morning, so they reach you firm and deep green, with no wilting or yellow edges. Each pack comes in 250 grams, priced to give you fresh quality without ordering more than you need. These are used in manakish, labneh, salads, and grilled meat, and this pack gives you enough for several dishes at home

Why Fresh Matters for Zaatar

Zaatar leaves carry more natural oils and aroma than dried versions, and these oils fade quickly once the herb is cut or dried. That’s why we cut and pack our leaves the same morning they leave the farm, so your 250 gram pack reaches you with firm stems and deep green leaves, no wilting, no yellow edges. This makes a real difference in dishes like manakish, labneh, and fattoush, where the herb carries the main flavor.

How to Store and Use It

Keep the pack in the fridge, wrapped in a paper towel, to stay fresh for five to six days. Use it in manakish, labneh, salads, or grilled meat for a strong, earthy flavor. Add it fresh at the end of cooking to keep its aroma strong. Pair it with our fresh wheatgrass for a full herb order.
